Cultural Performance

         Yat Sen, being a multicultural school, has performances for many occassions from different cultures including cultural and modern Indian dances.  For the 1998 prize-giving function, 6 brave girls, Nitisha Lal, Neha Nagin, Melissa Yuen, Janette Low, Carol Sela and Narita Nagin put on a combination of modern and classical Indian dance at the China Club.

        The audience went wild, and therefore the performance proved to be a success.  After hours of practice and perseverance we were close to perfect, and fortunately no one tripped or forgot the dance steps.

        The dance was only possible because of the kind loan of the dazzling Indian outfits (Ghangra Cholis) by Sogo Fiji Ltd.  We would like to acknowledge Mr. and Mrs.  Goundar and the staff of Sogo.  I would also like to thank all the participants for their co-operation and contributions.  Thnaks, a lot, guys!!
