Form
3A hosts the most intellectual, sensational, funky, dudes and dudettes I
have ever come across. The range of characters and personalities of the
3A family is just unbelievable. We have comedians, geniuses,
irresponsible and responsible ones and many more. When we had first
entered the gates of our so-called new “school” everyone was extremely
excited. Everyone expected secondary life to be something different and
hard and tiring, but when we come to think of it now, it’s not as
different as primary. If you had come from Yat-Sen Primary you would
understand that hard work was very important there. The main difference
and difficulty was probably the new subjects like Accounting, Economics,
Secretarial Studies, Technical Drawing and Computing. We sincerely thank
Miss Yee, Mrs Patel, Miss Katafono and Mrs Lata for their help and
guidance for us to master the new subjects.
Our
form has had its ups and downs this year, but through them all we’ve
seemed to come out of them all right. The Talent Quest this year was one
of our downs because practically no one wanted to have anything to do
with it, but thankfully a few of the girls took part in a dance with
Form 3B, and a song with the Form 3B, so we still had some sort of
dignity left. One of our up (probably our only one) was the English Week
competition, which I’m very proud to say that Form 3A won, beating our
archrivals Form 3B and amazingly the Form 4s.
This title I believe was well earned as all of my classmates contributed
and were supportive towards the participants. We would also like to
thank, Miss Aziz for her encouragement for us to take part in the
competition.
This
year has been a wonderful and terrific one for the students of Form 3A.
Thank you to all our teachers for putting up
with such a bunch or rowdy students and also to our prefects
(sorry we never listened). Wishing you all a very
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
