Form 4 - 1998 |
|
Population Form 4D represents one of the prominent forms of Yat Sen Secondary. The form consists of 44 rowdy students and one very dedicated form teacher. The students of 4D come from different ethnic backgrounds. Fijians make up 45.7% of the form while Chinese make up 40.9%. Our form is also made up of Europeans (6.8%), Rotumans (2.2%) and Indians (2.2%). We like to think of our form as harmonious and non-prejudicial.
The
main language shared is English. A touch of Chinese and Fijian is added
on from our talkative corners. Outside the classroom we speak our own made
up broken English!
Religion The integration of cultures does not affect the religious part of our form. Most of our form members are Christian. They follow the Catholic, Methodist, Seventh Day or Jehovah’s Witness denominations. Every form time period the class is updated about the Bible when Master Young says, "The Good Book says…." Or "The Man upstairs…"
Form 4D is a plural form and the students are one body. Our opinions are expressed and heard. There are a lot of disagreements but we always come to a final decision.
