Form 5H, a form blessed with a diversity of cultures, opinions, stereotypes and taste in music! Our R & B divas - Jean, Torika, Jacquline, Nazzie and Jane. The undeniable heavy metal freaks - karyn (Da Bomb) Whiteside, and Thomas (uro) man and our, oh! sexy rapsters many of whom left at the end of 2nd term : Joseph Roko, Darren, Peter(man), Semesa & Alistair and our very own Great White (Jimmy Boy)
Besides our typical carefree teenagers, are the intellectuals: the deep thinking intelligents who consistently see 5H showered with various awards and certificates ranging from the Australian Mathematics, Science, Computing etc as well as local 1st place title defenders: Lili H, Shi Heng, James X, Moniza K, Joeli J D, Siddartha N and Mao (Leon).
We have Ricky M (Joe blow) himself, the 3 stooges (Fu Hui, Tony and Kevin), our soccer stars (Ronald(o), Monish and Varun) Delasau Young (who said glasses were out) and our own aspring writer - Mini. But life wouldn't be complete without a touch of glamour: The beautiful May, Kan Fung, Dorothy and Shu Ping, and superwoman herself - Lai Kiu, the extremely talkative but very glamourous
backbenchers boys Joeli and Siddy not forgetting our very own Clark Kent (Tek Fai) and our mother,
collegue, fellow alien and sis Eleni - U.S. Women!
Along with the rest, are vivacious gals in da korna, Laisa, Vika, Sophie, Shelly and our very own Barbie!! Life would be so dull without their daily rituals of "Shake, shake" and hairstyling. You go girls!
With a form oozing with everything from intelligence to glamour, it isn't a wonder that Form 5h ROCKS!!
Ciao Babes !!

Form Captain - 5H
5H! Wow! We should be called 5 H(ooligans), but anyway!
What happened to us was classical, We passed with (uh..) flying colours (?) came to Form 5 saying we would work ... then didn't.
I would attempt to give a description of each student but it would not do justice to the bright potential of any of us. (No to mention the overuse of this format)
As a form we've had a lot of fun, our student council reps organised petitions and won us a new fan (among other issues). We've also been
traumatized.
We started the year with 42. Thomas joined us. Then Wilson flew away to Boston. Surprisingly, Joseph R, Darren F and Peter C all move to "Suva Christian
Community School" and became good little boys! (Yeah, right!)
And as for our form teacher, I think I speak for us all when I say, "Mrs. Taito, please adopt us and take us to America!"
nah! We'd just like to express our unending gratitude.
Most of us have known Mrs. Taito since we entered Yat Sen as a fair Taskmistress, stern when required. "God bless you Mrs. Taito, we'll miss you!"
Overall, Fiji has gone through a rough patch, a crisis we didn't anticipate, but we have come through. In a few weeks, we can
dub ourselves Form 5 H(oliday makers).
It has been a good year, all considered, but all due to the resilient students of our form.
Wishing you all the best this year (what's left of it) and God's blessings for 2001.
Vice Form Captain
Ditoka, Joeli Jason.
