Form 5H consists of many different races, characters
and countries. We have people from India, Korea, Tonga, Rotuma, China and
all other “half-cast”. With this diversification of cultures we got to
know each other better through everyday interaction, learning and
appreciating each others cultures and working together as one with the
help of Mrs. Veramu who always held us together and kept us in line with
her witty comments and her understanding nature. This assistance led to
our win in the Talent Quest (2nd place), 1st place in class participation
(almost the whole lot of us performed, showing our team spirit) and 1st in
most creative dress.
Our lone rep (from 5H) for the Fiji Mathematics Association was Anna, who
managed to do us proud by grabbing consolation prize
Besides academic and artistic achievements, our form has succeeded in
extra-curricular activities as well - especially in sports. Namely
Badminton -Leny and Lokhum, Basketball - Seko, Epeli, Table Tennis -
Marlon and our built Tennis star, Christopher.
Some of us sacrificed our school holiday time to help out in the
elections. They helped guide them to their correct polls, translate vital
information to some voters.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our teachers,
especially since we were a very cheeky class. You all had the patience to
teach us and our results in exams shows our appreciation.
Overall, I’m sure everyone had a wonderful time in 5H. And remember we’re
not different - we’re unique!
Have a blessed Christmas and a Groovy New Year!
