Form 6 - 1998

FORM 6J REPORT

The form 6J of 1998 consists of 20 boys and 22 girls who all have different talents – annoying behaviors and not to mention charming tactics. This year, lots of activities took place and many memorable moments.

Despite having 8 prefects amongst us, we were still regarded as one of the noisiest and naturally most annoying forms in the top floor (possibly the whole school). But this didn’t stop us from being the 3rd overall runner-up for the Library Week.

Marine and Yang were part of the team that represented our school in the Fiji Inter-School Maths Competition and came 5th.

Our basketballers bowed out in the semifinal of the Sprite Inter-School Tournament.

Raina, Derwood, Tiffany and Meli were representatives from the form that participated in the 8th Va’a World Sprints, that took place in Suva with our Raina being the captain of the U16 team that won Fiji’s only gold medal.

Our form also had its downs losing two students – Jekesoni Caucau and Alexis Crawford who had become so much a part of us. We wish them all the best in their future.

A big VINAKA to all the Form 6J students for their cooperation and hard work this year.

FORM 6K REPORT

Another year of solid hard work has come by, and as form Captain, I must say that TEAM 6K has endured a lot.

As a well balanced team, which consists of 38 intelligent and energetic young men and women, we armed ourselves with determination and enthusiasm, and stormed into 1998 to take on the challenge that had been put forward before us and that was to pass F.S.L.C. And now that we have reached the end of the year we can all sit back and thank the Lord, our parents and our teachers not only for preparing us for the final exams but also for the years to come.

Also as form captain, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those students who represented the form in the various school activities organized by the subject teachers. Also, I would like to thank those students who participated in various sporting activities that occurred during the year. Thanks Guys (and Girls) for lifting the name of the school and 6K also.

Last but not least, a very big THANK YOU goes to all members that are part of Team 6K (OH! Not forgetting the ever smiling and kool looking, Master P.P. Lal) for making 1998 a successful year and a year that will be remembered for a very long time. So with these words of thanks, to all 6K members of 9T8, I would like to wish you all, the very best and good luck in your future studies.

MAY YOU ALL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!!
