Vice Principal Report
The school year passed swiftly and smoothly this year despite the many changes in the timetable and the many events added on to the normal school calendar. Through this magazine, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the various components of the school body for their contribution to the success of the 2002 school year:
(a) the Board of the Chinese Education Society and the PTFA executives for their invaluable support for the school.
(b) the school principal, Mrs. Ali for her excellent leadership; wise objective decisions and professional guidance in preparing every Yat Sen Secondary School student for the future.
(c) the teachers for their individual and team effort in teaching; motivating; coaching; counseling; supervising; and assessing students performance throughout the year. Also I would like to thank the relieving teachers Ms. Laila Nabila and Ms. Angela Narayan for their contribution during a time of need.
(d) the school office staff, the school Administrator Assistant, Mrs. Helen Hansji; Ms. Mehnaaz Khan and Mrs. Sera Sosfefo, the school secretary, for the efficient service offered to the students, parents and teachers.
(e) The Head Boy, Head Girls, Prefects and Provisional Prefects for their superb performance of duties.
(f) The Student Council Executives and members. The Form Captains and Assistants. Thank you for the great effort and commitment that you have shown in your special role this year.
(g) The PARENTS for their part in the part in the care and supervision of studies at home.
(h) The STUDENTS who toiled all to become more mature and successful individuals. Thank you too for your participation and achievements in the various Australian Schools Competitions; sports activities; extracurricular activities e.g. Chinese Youth, Christian Fellowship, Saint John Brigade, the Weekly Competition and many more.

Thank you administrators and parents for your confidence in us teachers, and thank you students for your support and cooperation.
