Some of the major concerns addressed were Alcoholism, Drugs and Substance Abuse, and Divorce. This event was celebrated in the first term.
RATU SUKUNA DAY
• DISPLAY BOARD
A display on the life and achievements of Ratu Sukuna was put up by the Form 6 History students during Ratu Sukuna week.
• TALK ON RATU SUKUNA
The school also commemorated the occasion by having a special school
assembly in which the Director of the Fijian Language Unit, Mr Misiweni Qereqeretabua addressed the school on Ratu Sukuna and lessons learnt from his life.
OPEN DAY
• DISPLAY
The classes contributed to the display by way of charts, diagrams and models of work in their respective subjects.
The students had put in their best effort and the outcome of the work they produced was so over whelming that the Principal allocated one of the rooms in the new block to the Social Science Department
• ROLE PLAY
Form 4C,the class that won the role play competition on Children's Day once again performed the play for the parents who were present for the Open Day.
• FRENCH REVOLUTION/MODELLING
The form 7History class modelled the attire won by the French during the French Revolution. Part of the cost of these garments were borne by the French Embassy.
In addition to the above, the Form Seven History students also served morning tea to guests who attended the Open Day.
We express our gratitude to the French Embassy for funding the morning tea and assisting in the garments modeled.
